The False Salvation
God created His Kingdom and, provided they obeyed one simple instruction, gave mankind free access to it – FREEDOM.
Along came a jealous, depraved individual, Satan, who didn’t like the fact that mankind had been given this gift and he set out to persuade them that they wouldn’t lose their freedom if they disobeyed God. He succeeded and mankind disobeyed the instruction of God – SIN – and was condemned to death, removed from the Kingdom and incarcerated in a prison (this life), awaiting death, subject to the grace of God on Judgement Day.
God explained to mankind what He requires of them to gain release from prison – the 10 commandments – and He had Moses set out 613 prison edicts that they must adopt. It was a repressive regime that dictated every aspect of life. Even with all that, mankind continued to sin. Except for a few notable individuals, even those that abided by the rules, by living to the letter of the Laws, still failed to adopt the spirit of the Laws. The prison wasn’t working out for God, so He sent a new governor to run it.
This man took a new approach and entered into a contract with the inmates: he offered to do their sentence for them. The following is what Jesus had to say:
If you accept and love me as the new prison governor, abide by the spirit of the law and work with me rather than against me, I will let you out of the cells and set aside the 613 rules. Instead of being in prison, you’ll be on remand – awaiting trial (Rom 6:18). If you do well you’ll be found not guilty and earn access to a new Kingdom and regain your FREEDOM. Many will tell you that you can’t earn your way to salvation but that is a mischaracterisation of the truth and I will have no relationship with those who adopt that view (Matt 7:23).
Make no mistake; I’m not abolishing a single one of the laws (Matt 5:18). In fact, if anyone insists on keeping to the letter of those laws in preference to recognising the spirit of the law, and then breaks one, I will consider that he has broken all of them (James 2:10) and put him back in his cell – imprisoned by SIN.
And be clear what it means to keep to the spirit of the law as opposed to the letter: it is not so much what you do, but what you think (Matt 5:28).
If you do the things that I tell you, I’ll completely forget that you were ever a criminal. If you truly love me and what I’m offering you, you won’t find that hard to do. (1 John 5:3)
Now, I recognise that from time to time you’ll make little, unthinking mistakes. You must learn from these. I won’t ignore your plea for forgiveness for an accidental oversight or misinterpretation. But if you insist on repeating them or wilfully break a clear commandment or fail to keep learning and growing or listen to others rather than me, then your disobedience, your ignorance and your lack of discernment will not be overlooked. Understand that I’m not paying your fines again and you’ll be back in prison for good. There will be no second chances if you turn away from me (Eze 18:24).
This might sound harsh, but the fact is, if you are really with me and really love what I’m doing for you, you won’t want to sin, stop learning or allow yourself to be deceived. Yes, you’ll be tempted, but you must deny that temptation. You must stop doing what you have been doing and simply emulate me. Let me be clear: no one who keeps on sinning has understood me or my message. (1 John 3:6)
When I told the adulteress (John 8:11) I wouldn’t condemn her for past sin, but to “sin no more”, do you think I didn’t mean it: that I misspoke? Or did you suppose that I only said it to annoy the Pharisees? When I told the multitudes on the mountain that they must be perfect (Matt 5:48), was I joking?
Don’t be deceived by those that tell you can have it both ways, you can’t. You are either all in with me or you are all out. I do nothing that is not of God (John 5:19) and you must do nothing that you do not see me doing.
I know that some of you have an obsession with taking things that aren’t yours, find it difficult to control your anger, are attracted to children or the same sex or feel that you can’t stop abusing alcohol. To allow yourself to dwell on these temptations is sin. You must conquer them; lay down such desires from your life as I laid down my fear for my life at Gethsemane. It is God’s will that must prevail, not yours. These are the crosses that you must bear and, if you don’t, the Kingdom can’t be yours.
But you say, surely God will have mercy on a man who, from birth, had no interest in women. Will God condemn him to a life of misery by denying him the love of a man? I tell you that your lives are not your own, they are God’s, bought and paid for at a very high price (1 Cor 6:19-20). Understand this all you that have forgotten to fear God: He is not interested in your interpretations of love and mercy or your definition of fairness (Ezekiel 18:25-29). Your duty is to follow my teaching to the letter, whatever suffering that might bring for you, whatever the cost: that is how you show me devotion. It is not shown with your Sunday public displays, your false ceremonies and your sanctimonious words. You must deny yourselves – transforming yourselves to perfection (Matt 16:24).
It might not be what you want to hear, and there will be many who will try to tell you that this is legalism, but you had better listen to me, not them. Anyone who breaks my commandments does not love me and they will die.
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Now, let me warn you that Satan is still out there and he doesn’t like this new deal I’m offering you. Watch out for him. He’ll try to get you to believe anything except what I’ve told you. He’ll water down my message and tell you that it is allegorical. He’ll tell you that all you need is love and try to stop you fearing God (oh, you had better fear God (Rev 14:7)!) He’ll have them tell you that I bring peace; yet I told you that I will come to divide the obedient and believing from the disobedient and unbelieving (Luke 12:51). He’ll change God’s times and laws [(Dan 7:25) Pope Gregory 13th changed God’s 360 day calendar to a 365 day one and governments across the world are recognising Noahide Law over biblical law right now], bring in a whole bunch of nonsense to complicate and confuse [change the Sabbath, baptism, prosperity gospel, Easter/Xmas, rapture, etc, etc], adding things I never instructed and removing things that I did. He’ll even try to get to you to believe in a non-existent God [A Trinity of equals]. You must resist him.
Now you might think that after all the history and evidence, it would be pretty stupid to fall for the same lies all over again, but I’m telling you now that’s exactly what most of you will do. Many will try to enter the Kingdom, but only a few will succeed. Most will be deceived.
Do not be led by those that are deceived. If Satan can deceive the whole world, do you think that your brothers and sisters are immune? Listen to no man! Remember you were told:
He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.
So let me be even clearer about some of the things that will lead you back to prison, awaiting death.
Most important is failing to know the true God (John 17:3). I expect you to willingly suffer for me as I have suffered for you, so if you are fearful, lacking courage or faith, then don’t expect me to release you (Rev 21:8). If you murder or play around with false spirits or Gods, don’t expect a place with me. If you fornicate or are effeminate, you have no place in my Kingdom. (1 Cor 5:13) If you love me you will do what I tell you (John 14:15, 14:21), nothing more and nothing less (Deut 4:2). Keeping the spirit of the Law is not legalism and neither is doing good works. When I tell you to keep my commandments – all of them – that is not legalism, it is love (John 14:15).
You’ve heard pastors say that you can’t earn your way to salvation, you can only get there through the grace of God. This is a deception which will lead many to destruction. The truth has a quite different message. Yes, it is true that a great list of good works will not give you a place in the Kingdom (Gal 2:16), but a life without works will ensure that that there is no place for you. To achieve salvation you need to fulfil four requirements to the best of your ability: faith, love, obedience and works. Then, and only then, with the grace of God, which is freely given, may you enter the Kingdom.
To justify their false message, pastors will quote:
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
As with so many false claims this one is supported by a selected verse or two whilst others are carefully ignored. In this case, the very next one:
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
This is a perfect example of how deception works: learn from it. It is most often achieved not by commission, but by omission – by what is not said rather than what is.
Read for yourselves what I really think about works:
Titus 3:14; James 2:14-20; Titus 3:8; Matthew 5:16; James 2:20-24; Hebrews 6:10; Titus 2:7; James 1:22-27; Hebrews 10:24; 1 Timothy 6:18; James 2:25-26; Psalm 90:17; 1 Timothy 5:10; James 1:25; 2 Timothy 3:17; Colossians 1:10; Romans 2:13; James 3:13; Titus 3:1; John 3:21; Matthew 6:1-4; Nehemiah 13:14; 1 Timothy 2:10; Acts 10:38; 1 Timothy 5:25; 1 Corinthians 3:6-9; Galatians 6:4; 2 Corinthians 9:8; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Matthew 21:28-31; Matthew 20:11-15
Without all these verses to balance Eph 2:8-9, a new believer is deceived into thinking she need do nothing but believe to attain salvation.
I didn’t tell the story of the Good Samaritan for nothing. It was a message to you to love all regardless of race, colour and creed and to put yourselves at service to those that are in need. These are works and they are required. (James 2:17)
The churches tell you that it is easy. They quote John 3:16 to give the impression that all you have to do is declare your belief in God and your place is assured. Then you can go about your business just as you were, having been “saved”. What arrogance! They never describe true belief and cannot discern the nature of God. Do they even know me?
They pick and choose the messages they want to hear and disregard the rest. They say the Old Testament is irrelevant, ignoring the fact that my entire offer of salvation to you is based upon it and that I told you that the law still stands (Matt 5:18).
But you deceived masses do even worse. You worship my Father with your false ceremonies that God hates (Amos 5:21); exalting my death, rather than my life; eulogising my birth rather than my message. Do you not understand that these ideas derive from the false church of Satan, not from me? You even place the detestable image of my suffering on your pulpits and buildings, dragging the Roman’s evil cross around towns during your pagan ceremonies believing, in your ignorance, that you do it for me. Do you think you worship me with the symbol of my humiliation and suffering? Why do you replace my instructions and my example with this humanly-devised nonsense? Why is it so hard for you just to do as I have done and to follow the teachings of my servant, Paul?
Like the Laodiceans (Rev 3:14 ff) you have become lazy and self-satisfied: lukewarm. You’ve bought in to the deception. You do things that look good, but the power and magnitude of God completely eludes you (2 Tim 3:5). I told you but you do not listen: I will not be placed second to your jobs, your possessions and your families. I am the first – the only – object of your love. Anything you do for others, you do for me, not instead of me.
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
My life is your example: follow it! My servants show you the way. Subtract nothing and add nothing and you cannot go wrong.
Like the Pharisees you ignore the signs that God sends to show you that I am about to return: in fact you hardly even see them. The pastors tell their congregations not to worry because I will whisk you away in a secret rapture to heaven before any harm comes to you. Thus you are not ready and not prepared. But they have no idea what they should be doing in preparation and they carry on as if nothing is happening: eating, drinking and marrying as before (Matt 24:38). They are messengers of Satan (2 Cor 11:13-15) and they ignore God’s warnings at their peril.
Change your ways! The time is now! I am close, even at the door.
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:56-57
