The Jews and End-Times Prophecy
Churches concentrate on love – God’s love, the love that Christ showed to us by His sacrifice, and the love that we must invoke in our relationships with others. They say that Christ’s love is exemplified in a message of peace and tolerance. This message underlies the wholly inadequate and dangerous, Alpha Course which has attracted huge criticism from genuine Christians on the web (for example here [no endorsement]) and yet enjoys the support of dozens of denominations – a fact that prompted one Christian to comment, “beloved, discern the times!”
Love is, of course, the entire basis upon which Christianity rests, but what is it and how should we apply it? Without the many balancing and defining directives and tests which the Bible sets out (for example, “if you love me you will keep my commandments”) the entire message risks distortion. The Bible needs to be studied to determine the right application of love.
One example of misplaced love is the churches’ prevailing imperative of local cooperation between churches and joint worship (ecumenism), which has the effect of tolerating error and lies in pursuit of a false concept of peace and love. On a national and international scale the Churches Together movement and the World Council of Churches which includes Methodists, Baptists and CofE, seek to blur and remove the lines between denominations because, they say, 1) we are all worshipping the same God in “one church” and, 2) love is not judgemental and judgement is not ours to make.
The Bible’s perspective is far more complex. We are told that Christ will not come to bring peace, but a sword (Matt 10:34). That sword is the sword of truth (Heb 4:12). Christ is unchanging (Mal 3:6, Heb 13:8) and so what the Bible said and says, is what it means – no drift, no leeway, no relativism (Psalm 119:160). There can only be one absolute truth so it is not possible for all denominations to be Christ’s Church for they have different beliefs. Ecumenism is an effort to homogenise a series of unbiblical concepts into a human-manufactured political doctrine that has no foundation in scripture. All efforts to do it should be condemned.
Worse still is the idea that even non-Christians are worshipping the same God. Pope Francis is currently running around the world bringing together Hindus, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists and every other religion. The World Council of Churches and all its signatories tacitly support his efforts.
The Pope urged Buddhists and Catholics to continue to come closer, “advance in knowledge of one another and in esteem for their respective spiritual traditions, and offer the world a witness to the values of justice, peace, and the defense of human dignity.”

Christ came in love, in part, to make judgements; one of which was a judgement against the Sanhedrin (Jewish elders) (Matt 23:25) and another against the moneychangers in the temple (Matt 21:12). Those judgements led to the expulsion of the Jews from Jerusalem in 70 AD and the expurgation of Judaism from the Faith. These actions were not a withdrawal of love, but they were nevertheless condemnations – necessary to preserve the purity of Christ’s message.
Churches endlessly favour the many passages where we are told not to judge (“let him who is without sin…”, etc), but ignore those that tell us how to do so (Matt 7:6, Titus 3:10-11, 1 Cor 5:11, 1 Tim 1:20, Matt 18:15-17): in particular Acts 20:28-31 which warns us to guard the truth. Ecumenism does the opposite and is not an expression of love, but rather disobedience.
In many places the Bible tells us to avoid deception (Isa 44:20, Luke 21:8, 1 Cor 6:9, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 3:3, Rev 18:23, etc). The evidence that we live in the last of the last days is all around us; yet it is largely unseen or ignored by the churches. It is this ignorance that will make the deception possible. As long as Christians are not acutely cognisant of the fact that we are surrounded by the very conditions prophesied for the end-times, they cannot react in the way that the Bible tells us we should. Jesus scorned the Pharisees (Matt 16:3), calling them hypocrites, for their failure to recognise the very conditions that their Bibles, which they loved to misquote and claimed to live by, were describing. And so it is with Christians today. Jesus told us to “Watch” (Mark 13:35-37) and warned us not to find ourselves shut out like the foolish virgins (Matt 25:10). Those who have not prepared themselves for His coming will be disowned by Christ (Matt 25:12) whom he calls workers of iniquity (Matt 7:23)! The reason for that becomes clear in the events of the last days.
Christians who are ignorant of the prophetic signs often say that they are confident that God will guide them when the time comes. They seem to be blind to the fact that God has guided them and they are studiously ignoring Him. He has told us to watch the events unfolding in the world and to pray. We are also told in many places that end times deception will be rife and that we must prepare for it (Eph 6:11). How can we prepare for something of which we are ignorant?
The importance, not only of watching but understanding what to watch for, cannot be overestimated; which is why end times conditions are spelt out repeatedly in the Bible for those willing to hear. This study considers just one of them and it demonstrates the absolute necessity of watching end time events and understanding their meaning.
A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
Daniel 7:23-25 foretells how, in the last days, a system of one-world government, supported and enabled by an apostate one-world religion (ecumenism), will arise, headed by a charismatic leader. He will speak against God and His people. Paul warns Christians in 2 Thes 2:3-12 that this man will take his seat in the Temple of God, showing himself to be God. The Bible tells us that this Antichrist figure will deceive the world and, if possible, even the very elect (Matt 24:24).
Some Bible readers have argued that this man is spiritual and that the Temple of God referred to by Paul is the minds of God’s people, not a physical place. This view may have been reasonable in the past, but today our knowledge has increased as Daniel prophesied that it would (Dan 12:4). With the evidence that we see today it becomes clear that this is a physical man, taking his seat in a physical place and taking control of a physical world government. Eschatologists now almost unanimously agree that the holy place to which Paul refers is a restored, third, Temple on the Mount (Al Aqsa compound) in Jerusalem, which the Israeli Jews are seeking to build, now!
It seems likely that Donald Trump, through his long-awaited plan for Middle East peace, may be the enabler of its construction, or the Pope may facilitate it through his ecumenical efforts. Whatever the case, the modern Sanhedrin are, at this moment, a long way through the preparations, having sourced a required red heifer and Lebanese wood, produced hundreds of harps and other “holy” implements and even identified a priest with the necessary direct lineage from Aaron. As of January 2019, we appear to be on the cusp of the construction of the Temple within which the Man of Sin will take his seat (2 Thes 2:3). The Jews say that their temple could be completed in less than two years once authority to build it has been given.
Another objection that many Christians have to this interpretation of the prophesy is that the True Church of God has done away with the need for places of worship (Eph2:20-22, Rev 21:22) and so there will be no construction of a third temple. This argument fails to recognise that the Jews do not believe in the divinity of Christ and are waiting for their own messiah, the Mashiach. Their temple is for him and has, it is true, nothing to do with Christianity. It is nevertheless foretold in the Bible and is a key element of end-times events.
So who are these Jews and why are they planning to build a temple that God does not want? The answer is absolutely stunning and clearly explained in the Bible, but is apparently not known to most Christians.
A Warning for Christians
Israel is symbolised today by the national flag which incorporates the Star of David. Many Christians are surprised to find that this symbol appears nowhere in the Bible under that name. The following are the only biblical references to a symbolic star and the only ones that might explain its origin:
Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness? Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.
The same star and same god is referenced in Amos 5:26. So who are these gods to whom the House of Israel had turned?
Remphan or Rephan
These names represent the star-god Saturn or Moloch.
King, the name of the national god of the Ammonites, to whom children were sacrificed by fire. He was the consuming and destroying and also at the same time the purifying fire. In Amos 5:26, “your Moloch” of the Authorized Version is “your king” in the Revised Version (comp. Acts 7:43). Solomon (1 Kings 11:7, Acts 11:7 erected a high place for this idol on the Mount of Olives, and from that time till the days of Josiah his worship continued (2Kings 23:10, 13). In the days of Jehoahaz it was partially restored, but after the Captivity wholly disappeared. He is also called Molech (Lev 18:21; 20:25, etc.), Milcom (1 Kings 11:33, Lev 11:5 33, etc.), and Malcham (Zeph 1:5). This god became Chemosh among the Moabites.
Easton’s Bible Dictionary
Although Easton says that Moloch wholly disappeared from the Bible, the god did not wholly disappear from Judaism; as we shall see.
Jewish scholars, when challenged, are unable to explain the origin of their star. Many Christians however make a connection with Revelation 22:16, believing this suggests that Judaism is centred upon the Christian God. Instead, we find the Jews worshipping the ancient Satanic god, Moloch for whom the blood of children is spilt. Many Bible verses prove that the Jewish God is not Jehovah:
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is Antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
1 John 2:22-23
Jesus, whilst confirming the heritage of the Jews, confirmed that they were of a different father:
I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
Jesus then goes on to name their father:
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
The Jew’s long-awaited Mashiach is in fact the Man of Sin described by Paul – the Antichrist! In Revelation Jesus goes further, proclaiming that those who occupy Israel and call themselves Jews will worship at the feet of the Elect (Gentile and converted Jews.)
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
Paul defines a true Jew as one who worships the true God:
For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
That God is the God of Israel. Given the above verses it is astonishing that many Christians continue to believe that He is also the God of the Jews. In Romans 9 Paul spells out the truth clearly for anyone who remains unsure:
[…] For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh (or blood descendants), these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
In determining the attitude of denominations toward the Jews, it is important to understand the distinction between Jews, the people; Judaism, the faith; Israel, the place; and the politics of the Middle East. Whilst most churches in the UK support the Jews and Judaism, most are opposed to the political stance of Israel vis-a-vis the Palestinians. This exposes the inconsistency and confusion that exists in the churches and exemplifies the politicisation of mainstream religion.
Based upon comments on the web, Baptists generally believe that the Jews are the chosen people of God. Methodists in Britain have an active policy of building links with Judaism at national and particularly, local level. The Methodist website states the church’s belief that, “There is one living God, in whom both Jews and Christians believe.”
It bears emphasising that Jews deny Christ as the Son of God. John warns Christians not to even bid deniers “God speed” (“give him a greeting” (NET) or “hail” (YLT)) or else we will be counted as a sharing their evil. The Bible is clear: the ecumenical effort upon which many churches are currently embarked is forbidden. Yet many mainstream churches are actively courting the Jews.
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
2 John 1:9-11
Methodists say, “As Christians, we are called into dialogue with our Jewish neighbours” and “Christians and Jews are bound to God though biblical covenants that are eternally valid.” These are lies!
Christian churches repeatedly use selective verses from the Bible to support the notion that when Christ returns the Jews will once again be favoured by God. It is true that Jews have a special place in the heart of God, but He rejected them because they rejected Him. The promise has not moved to the Gentiles as some “replacement theology” proponents suggest: it has moved to believers in Christ, whether they be Jewish or of any other race, former religion or creed.
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
The Jews have every opportunity to return to God, but will not do so en masse before they have deceived millions of Christians, causing them to abandon Christ in favour of Satan’s false Antichrist – the period that Paul calls, the “falling away”. Speaking of the return of Christ (“that day”) which happens after that falling away, he writes:
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
No Christian should be in any doubt about the attitude of Judaism to Christianity. The Talmud is the articles of faith of Judaism. It was handed down, Rabbi to Rabbi orally for most of Jewish history, but was committed to paper around the 5th century. It is still today a foundation of Rabbinical learning and doctrine. In it Christians are compared to animals and dung, accused of being murderers and are said to be condemned to hell. (Source: http://talmudunmasked.com/chapter8.htm)
Jewish comedian, Sarah Silverman sums up their attitude to Jesus in this [warning extremely offensive] ‘comedy’ routine. The reaction from the audience is instructive. (Click below for audio)
In 2016 Wikileaks released the content of emails written by John Podesta, chair of Clinton’s presidential campaign, which included references that have been interpreted as paedophilic and which discussed invitations to Jewish “artist”, Marina Abramovic’s Spirit Cooking party (a Satanic ritual that apparently includes spreading human faeces, breast milk, urine and semen on walls). In an email to Huma Abedin, the campaign’s vice-chair, Podesta also refers to a sacrifice to Moloch. The Jewish god is apparently alive and well today.
In the last days two men will appear on the world stage (Rev 13), one a leader of an ecumenical religion and the other the political leader of a world government. The man that Paul calls, the Son of Perdition, will take his seat in the newly built temple and proclaim that he is God. The Jews will readily receive him as their Mashiach because he is! Millions of deceived Christians, misled by amazing signs and wonders (Rev 13:13-14) (perhaps holographic images of the Beast projected into the sky, such as the “cities in the sky” reported to have been seen last year by thousands of Chinese) and the brainwashing of the ecumenical movement, will worship Satan’s impostor believing him to be Christ.
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
The government will require everyone on earth to take a mark enabling them to participate in society and anyone refusing will be unable buy food or services. It is now easy to see how this will be done. The first stage is imminent: the crashing of the current economic system and the introduction of a cashless society based upon cards or implanted chips which can be switched on and off at will. Christians must identify and resist this mark in advance.
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
The Bible tells us that few will be chosen and that those who allow themselves to be misled through their ignorance of the Bible and the meaning of the events occurring in the world, will be told, “I never knew you”. Christian churches contain many people who diligently seek Christ, try to follow His commandments and do His work. Church establishments are often not driven by these high ideals. We Christians are required to be warriors for Christ, exposing Satan’s lies, and winning souls.
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
