Thanks for taking the time to visit. This site is based in Folkingham (about equal distance from Sleaford, Grantham, Donington and Bourne: all about 15 minutes away).
It is becoming increasingly obvious to me that churches have lost their way and no longer carry the original message of Christ or worship in the manner that God intended that we should. I know that there are many other people who feel the same way and are seeking others who want to get back to the original, simple message of the Bible.
Talk About God (taG) will soon become a group of people, meeting regularly in houses to rediscover the true message of the Bible and how it is relevant in our lives and to the very challenging future that it seems may be about to engulf us all. Whether you are a seasoned Christian, a relative newbie like me or just curious about what the Bible might have to offer you, I invite you to become a founding member.
taG will be much more than a Bible study group, although it is that – or a social group, although I hope it will become that. My vision for taG is for it to be a home-based community, modelled upon the early apostolic church, that is active in bringing people to Christ, working for those in need and addressing the problems that the whole world is about to face through simple communion with God without all the trimmings of churches. This is, after all, what the Bible instructs us to do. No lecture theatre seating arrangements, no fancy costumes and everyone will be the “Worship Team”, the “Prayer Team” and the “Study Team”. 1 Cor 14:26
Whoever you are, you are welcome!
The articles on this site might give you a sense of the kind of views that I hold. There is no requirement for you to agree (it might be more valuable if you don’t) – or hold any view on these issues. If you are new to the Bible, these ideas might not mean much to you at all – that makes you all the more welcome! Our purpose will be to discover truth together. Beyond that, the members will decide how this group functions and develops. Jesus said:
For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
The Bible requires Christians to meet together (Heb 10:24-25) and support each other, so for those who cannot find a satisfying church to attend, taG offers a real opportunity to obey that instruction.

There will be NO pressure, NO expectation and NO commitment required. So why not join to attend the first meeting and see if it’s for you. At the very least you should meet some interesting people and get a free tea/coffee and biscuit.
If you just have questions, please GET IN TOUCH: I can respond by email, by phone or face-to-face, whichever you prefer. I will absolutely respect your wishes: no commitment implied!
Please don’t put it off, time is short and I’m very much looking forward to speaking with you!
